Re-enabling a user in the AS400

The AS400 menu options

To re-enable a user in the AS400, make your way to the main FACS menu. This is usually the menu that first appears after logging in. Go to the Daily Sales Menu (option 1). Go to Enable User Profile (option 14). If you receive an error message, see Error Message A below. If you do not receive an error message, you should see Enter the user ID. Type in the username and press enter. If you receive an error message see Error Message B below. If you do not receive an error message, the user is re-enabled.

Error Message A

If you receive this error message, you do not have the AS400 security clearance to re-enable user profiles. If you feel this is a mistake, please contact the IS Support staff.

Error Message B

If you receive this error message, the person you are trying to enable does not directly report to you and must be enabled by someone else. If you feel this is a mistake, please contact the IS Support staff.
