Changing your password

To change your password, open an AS400 session, sign in. Press the 'Esc' key (usually at the top left of the keyboard), press 6, then press Enter. Before entering anything, think of what you want your new password to be. It must meet the following criteria: - 8-10 character long - not case-sensitive (does not care about uppercase/lowercase) - at least one letter - at least one number - the first character cannot be a number Once you have thought of a new password, type your old password in the Current password. If it did not automatically move down to the New password field, press tab. Type your new password. If it did not automatically move down to the New password (to verify) field, press tab. Confirm your new password. Press enter. If it does not give you an error message and returns to the previous menu, your password has been reset.
